Chef Widza of 180H4 Cuisine

A New York native, Widza Gustin, owner of 180H4 Cuisine, was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Widza graduated with a Grand Diploma in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center formerly known as the French Culinary Institute. Her journey begin in the corporate world selling auto insurance. Widza was able to learn the art and value of quality customer service and applies it to 180H4 Cuisine every second. Once in the culinary world, Widza interned for top notch companies like VICE/Munchies where she contributed to projects such as 'Bong Appetit' and the Food Network where she has contributed her work to shows like 'Worst Cooks of America.' Widza has watched many major culinary pioneers like Jacques Pepin and Julia Childs on the screen together but the major pioneer that drove the force for her culinary career is her mother Marie. Learning from her mom not only ancestral cooking techniques, Widza also learned the history of her home, Haiti. 180H4 Cuisine’s name is derived from the history of Haiti being the first country in the Caribbean to gain their independence in 1804. Proud of her Haitian roots, Widza incorporates her culture in every dish she caters. Also a mom of one to her daughter, Jahzara Marie, Widza teaches the young and old generations the value of testing your palate with different cuisines.
