Peers, a member-driven organisation to support the sharing economy movement, launched two new products on December 4th: Homeshare Liability Insurance and Keep Driving.
Homeshare Liability Insurance is a comprehensive personal liability insurance for homeshare hosts/owners. Hosts and home owners are insured for up to $1 million for personal injury or damage to property sustained by a homesharing guest/renter. Homesharing Liability Insurance also includes compensation for lost income as a result of damage to the home by a homesharing guest or their invitee, up to $5,000.
Keep Driving, a program for ridesharing drivers, or any other workers in the sharing economy who rely on their vehicle, that provides a replacement while a vehicle is being repaired following an accident.
Peers has partnered with Breeze, a company that provides short-term car leases, to give members access to a short-term leased vehicle for up to a month, without any additional financial cost.
