Social Innovation Exchange Summer School in Seoul

Tim Draimin, Executive Director of the Social Innovation Generation (SiG) in Toronto recently attended the Social Innovation Exchange 2013 Summer School in Seoul, South Korea.

Seoul is becoming a global hub for the sharing economy. Mayor Park Won-Soon created a Sharing City initiative to help the city tackle social, economic and environmental problems in innovative ways that incorporate the values of collaborative consumption. From banks coming together to help nurture the Seoul start-up community to My Real Trip which pairs travel guides with Korean travellers, Tim presents many examples of organizations involved in growing the sharing movement in South Korea.
